Palmer Divide Raceway - MAJOR Update 3/24/13!

Whew! I'm whipped. I've been wanting to close off the scenery on the back stretch of the PDR since I re-routed the pit and start/finish area. While there is no turf down, I managed to get the screen, Sculptamold, paint, and some scenic touches completed. I'm super stoked about the two following area...

Re: Palmer Divide Raceway Update!

El Kabong - Thanks! The backdrop is painted on the wall over knock-down texture.

Welcome!

How to build a resin kit

For some specific cars or body styles, the major slot car manufacturers may not be in a position to produce the car as they may forecast it as a low-selling slot car that will not offset the expense of tooling molds and manufacturing costs. Often, the only way to get that certain car that you want i...

Re: The Dug Out on Rt 66

Jon - Copy the image location for the picture, not the link location. I did that and re-inserted it for you and it worked.

Re: How to build a resin kit

Do not EVER use alcohol on resin - it will melt. If you can't get Wesley's, use Dawn dishwashing liquid and clean it really well.

Odd Scalextric Mustang Observation!

So, I have about 10 of the 1969/1970 Mustangs from Scalextric in addition to the 8-10 of these chassis under other resin bodies. I just picked up the Smokey Yunick Black/Gold Mustang last weekend. The case was sealed perfectly, and the car is perfect looking. Never been on the track, so I try to run...

Re: Odd Scalextric Mustang Observation!

I got it from a retailer online and had to break the seal on the case.

I modified it to get it working, but I'll shoot Scalextric a note.

Re: Odd Scalextric Mustang Observation!

It was a Scalextric sticker that was sealing it. A white one with the model number of the car on it.

It was the Yunick car...is that a special edition or something?

Re: I'm here, but what happened?

Bob, The old forum on Yuku has been problematic for years in several ways: it would go offline at times with no real explanation given by Yuku and unless registered, users had to deal with all sorts of advertising. The new forum is owned by HRW and is a significant upgrade in features and the fact t...

Re: Sad Update to John Reinecke Memorial Raffle Recipient

I am very sorry to share with you all that Austin passed away this afternoon with Victoria by his side. In one of his more lucid moments this morning he'd told his mom that he couldn't go just yet until he married her and that he needed to get a ring tomorrow. Knowing Austin, this was 100% serious a...
