Re: Skunkworks open this weekend

Val, When I lived in Waco, I was amazed at what an easy trip it was to my friend's place near Fredericktown, not far from Dixon. It just seems like a long way.

Re: Yeah Baby...Scalextric Jaguar E-Type

How can you tell? You can't see his lips in the photos. Maybe if he stuck his elbows out and strutted like a demented chicken... Starting in 1964, I followed the Stones and enjoyed them a lot and you know how good they must be if you can look past Mick's clowning onstage. That car would be perfect f...

Re: Blast From the Past

Uhhh, I don' 'member no gameover 'round these parts... Hmmm. Mebbe we'll have a look at this "Showdown" car he's talkin' 'bout. Mebbe we'll 'member him then, huh?

Welcome back, Steve. Is it cold up there yet? Stupid question. Is it frozen solid up there yet?

Re: Classic Gar Vic find

Somewhere in all my seldom seen boxes of old stuff, I have a chassis for the Firebird that was cut up for something by a guy I bought a box of junk from years ago. It was disappointing to see the cut marks on it. I don't remember if it was ruined or not. Does anyone make a repro of that body these d...

Re: Those old inline NASCARS

I have a few I want to sell. I haven't looked to see what layout the motor/axle is in, but I think they are Scaleys. I had some SCX with autobrakes, but gave them to a friend. I know there are at least two bodies as well.

Re: Those old inline NASCARS

Nope. As I remember, they are Exide, Texaco, Lowes, and something else. I'll look.

Re: Carrera Wrecker

I'm never going to do any digital stuff, so I decided to just make my own. Probably 12th or so down my list of things to build at this point. Closest I've been to catching up in a long time! Fun seeing this thing work. Hope I get to see one in the flesh sometime. The crystal case for this thing must...

Re: Scalextric Mercedes AMG GT3 - "Gulf"

Oh, I see. I did have that meaning confused. I thought it was the space between the bushings that was changed.
