Finished up my Mod entry!

Postby btaylor » Sat Apr 18, 2015 5:40 pm

Finally got my Mod wars sedan finished, Darn fine runner if I do say so myself! Turning sub 3.000 lap times, so I am good with that!
And Harry, there is a button mag in the roof.

This mod has a hidden Alter Ego! It is also a "Skeeter", A class of extremely fast, ultra light Cutdown sedans, ran primarily on southern dirt tracks in the mid sixties, through the early seventies. Running Injected on Alcohol, and using Aluminum wings for stability. This is another class i am adding to the Crossroads Speedway line up ImageImageImage

Imagine. A group of those babies circling the track, that would be wild!

Yes Sir! I hope to be able to show that very sight soon! Harry gave me the perfect idea for attaching the wings, That was the last piece of the puzzle for me. I am going to do a How-to on the wings and attachment very soon.

This will be a fun one indeed. I have a model picked out for my attempt, hopefully it passes your strict tech :)

I can honestly say, No one enjoys a fun road course any more than i do. But that being said, The wheel to wheel, and or Door to Door action, of a pack of snarling Modifieds or bombers, is about as much fun as you can have. One needs only to try it to like it.
