Are you racing on wood or plastic? with magnets or without? Nobody makes a turnkey late model slot car. If you are looking at RTR cars with plastic chassis that models any kind of modern oval racing car, Nascar type cars done by Scalextric, Carrera and SCX is about your only option. I don't think many if any are being produced currently by any of them. That leaves you with buying used or old stock. Of those the SCX Pro was the fastest, but they are getting hard to come by. Scalextric would be #2, Common (non pro) SCX #3 and Carrera #4. if you really want a dirt late model, as others have said, you will probably have to build that yourself. If you like old school Womp chassis with a vacuform late model type bodies, I think can still be had from Smith Scale Speedway. They are severely lacking in scale detail but are fun to race anyway. There have been some other vacuform or photo paper late model and Whelen type bodies made by a couple of individuals. Reality Raceways and SRP come to mind. I have no idea if any of them are currently being produced. SRP used to sell on Ebay. As for a fast RTR type chassis for a body you find from one of the above or make yourself, just look around for a bare Slot.it or Racer Group C, DP or LMP type chassis and add the body of your choosing.
