The coupe is a 1:32 Pyro that I hade to widen to get "in scale". I have no way to get the fenders "scale" so it had to be a modified.
I cast the sedan from a 1:32 die cast car. I'm not very good at this, so I only get 1 out of 3 that are any good.
I took one of the worst & chopped it up to become what you see.
My plan is to rough out some other types of modified bodies & set them up on that chassis.
The modified wheels I cast from a combination of M&T inserts, Pro Track wheels, brass & styrene tube.
The tires I formed using a couple sizes of PVC pipe glued inside each other & turned on a yard sale jeweler's lathe then molded &
cast in urethane.
I'm planning a 50 Chevy, 49 Ford & maybe a 63 Falcon modified bodies to post here. I'd like to find a Pinto, Nash Metropolitan, Vega, Corvair
& Willys coupe to cut up.
I've got a 40 Ford coupe floating somewhere in the P-Bop. Also got an early Mustang & Camaro to do also.
That's what ran in my neighborhood in the 70's.
