I really wish Sideways would get their inserts inside the rim of the wheel...

My 1/32 scale David Hobbs wonders how this chassis would fit under a Revell-Monogram body.

Mine like Harry's has no obvious clearcoat, but it runs like a scalded cat on the big track.
I have the R/M Flying Bricks , The Jagermeister and the Gold one. I like the looks of them all, but this Sideways is a real runner hands down.
Just wish it had been clear coated.
Not a biggie but something you would expect to have been done to an RTR car of this quality and price.

Jim, IMHO you should move this up on that list. I'm dropping in a Baby King and the PGs I showed.

I did email, but I seem to be having some issues here and there.

I think the pod works just fine. Swapping in the BK for testing now.

after reading that, I just ordered one mine self. thank you Sir! (I own a couple Bimmers anyway)

Great review Harry. Can't wait to get one.

Got mine last week and got a chance to try it on Sunday. The new pod is a BIG improvement - the car is very quiet and smooth. The lack of clear coat does not bug me much, it looks almost right to my eye. So far the only tuning I have done apart from trueing the tires is to move the pinion out a bit so it engages the gear properly. There's plenty space to do so without getting into the tire.

Does anyone know the part number for the new pod, I have a few other Gp5s that will need one.

Get a hold of Mike at Cloverleaf, they had the number a few weeks back.

We will have more in stock next week. The distributor only brought in a small amount to see if it really was an improvement. I was one of two dealers that got them to try. After my feedback he has ordered more.
