Car is in production now and due end of September.



The dirt effect is impressive to my eyes.

I hear a special method is used to make it:
The dirt paint effect is a fine blend of earth (sourced from Georgia), fine graded and crushed to a powder and then blended with a polyurethane acrylic base liquid. The liquid is then poured into a large shallow tray and each 'Moonshine Run' model is run at speed through the tray several times to get that authentic look. After that, we hook power up to the windshield wipers and run them for a couple seconds to get the clearance wipe on the windshield :auto-driving:









I like dirty.















I like the overall look. I must say between the packaging and detail level, most of you who like this car will want it :)

This model was sent to us by Jules at Pioneer as a door prize for our race event. One lucky boy is going to take Daisy and the boys home.

The P094 General Grant should be available to order from dealers in 10 days or so.

It is not a limited edition, per se, but in reality most all slot cars are 'limited editions', numbered or not. There are only a very few slot cars that get back into production after the first (and only batch) have been sold.

This does look too good. As a Kiwi I'm familiar with General Grant but unfamiliar with a 'General Grant car' until now. Can someone please enlighten me as to how this came about?

That no-good Boss Hogg recruits a northerner by the name of Joseph 'Four Star' Froggett to run moonshine across Hazzard County.

Now Bo & Luke really takes exception to Four Star and, in particular, his crazy blue Charger. Although they don't credit him with no more sense than a turkey, Bo & Luke discover that Four Star can fight and he can drive so the time has come for the Dukes to chase him directly out of Hazzard, right back to where he came from, probably New England or some such place "up there".

No blue-jacket northern gangster with a full tank of gas is gonna get the better of the Duke boyz.

Ain't this fun?
