I have The Porsche van, and no mag, with stock glued and trued rubber are a riot!
My buddy has the Jager van, and we had too much fun.
Note to some of you, check the clearance of your timing tower.
Mine was about a 1/4 inch too low so I had to use a taller custom one so we could get some times.
Hoping to follow with pics :D

Tom - I just measured and it is exactly 60mm tall.

I was flipping channels and starting watching Grand Prix, when I noticed this VW Van in the background of one of the scenes. Would be another cool paint scheme for Scalextric, hint, hint.

My Jager VW is so tippy it will fall over if you look at it but it's a cool addition to the slot box.

I'll post once I've put an HRS chassis under it...

I like the vans but I'd probably never really run them. I bet they are a blast though.

I think they could make excellent proxy vehicles at 14k to 15k motors lowered with a little weight and some tires.

Still tippy after conversion to a transporter.







Agreed that a less powerful slimline motor would be helpful for driveability.
