Could not resist. Bought the Red Bull and the DHL.

Bought all 3 DTM's trued the wheels and tires ....all run great on my digital track . I don't know if they can handle any better with the PG's , but I might give them a try...pretty impressive series of cars

Got a chance to watch "German Touring Car Racing" this evening. I saw the actual Red Bull car in action. The DTM from Carrera looks very close to the actual car.

DTM racing is outstanding to watch. Lots of action, passing and lead changes. There is no fueling allowed during the race, only tires and repairs.

BTW - I tried something today. I need to do some further testing, but it would appear it is very simple to wire the motor to the leads coming directly from the guide flag, then unsolder two wires, then move them and solder them to another spot. You have 100% analog speed control AND lights.

Great to read these thoughts about the DTMs guys. I was hoping for this reaction when the decision was made to bring in a trio of these cars. I'd hoped for a good field of cars and it sure seems like that is the case. Expect more in 2014...

From our pseudo-scientific testin, we have found that BOTH the 2 and 4 door DTM cars are more than competitive with one another.

A few of us have the Carrera DTM cars of both genres. We find it all comes down to the driver's skill, as it should. I think this fact can make these cars even more enjoyable.

Since Carerra built them in the manner the did, "box stock" is very easy to check at the tech table. Thanks for an outstanding product. I'm that more folks have the light come on, they too will get excited.

Well, pulled the magnet out and ran it on Carrera track. Just fun to drive, what a wonderful car. Reasonably quick, nothing outrageous, and the stock Carrera tires did an admirable job on plastic. Smooth and pretty well planted. So, good on every track it's been on, with or without the magnet. Folks love the looks of the car. In fact, somebody brought out one of the older DTN Red Bull Audis and ran it next to this one. The older ones were very nice cars, but looked completely toy-like next to this one.

Do you have the newer Carrera Aston Martin Vantage GT3 Young Driver? I am wondering if it runs as nice as the new Carrera DTM slot cars.
