Hey guys,
This is probably a stupid question but...
I'm in need of a gear combination for the inline FF motor with a 1.5mm shaft.
I want to use a 3/32 axle but seem to be having issues getting the gears to mesh...
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

as for the mesh issue, I would look and see where your pinion shaft is in relation to the axle shaft.
Ideally they should be centered. Since the ff sits lower , most of the time the pinion shaft sit lower than the axle. Hence the use of Slot it offset gears, or slightly raise the pinion end of the motor so it brings it closer to centering on the axle. Most of the MRRC cars came with a little round plastic spacer to help with this issue.
Hope this is helpful
Bob

Yes, if the motor shaft is below the center of the crown gear you will need an offset crown gear, unless you raise the motor
