Easy windscreen tip!

Had to share this one. I build a lot of Vintage style open wheel cars, and one of my biggest challenges is to mount a windscreen without glue marks or clouding  . I came up with this for my midget builds, and thought it might help some of you F1 guys as well. Using a cut plastic sheet, I clamped it around the body where it will mount. I then heated a push pin to make holes through the windscreen and body.
I then took some Tapered toothpicks (round), and rolled the very tip in superglue. I pushed the taper in as far as it would go, and let dry. The taper tends to push the windscreen close to the body, and the glue bonds both screen and body. I cut the toothpicks off just proud of the windscreen, and used the same toothpick to dab a little silver paint to simulate a snap or rivet. easy as pie, and no glue marks! Hope this helps someone!
