Mine has been working great for a long time now. A few days ago, we had an operator error. My youngest knocked the bare wires out of the PS and then I suspect tried to reattach both to the same polarity post. At 11, she hasn't grasped the whole +/- thing yet. We shouldn't have had bare wires either, but were doing some experimenting light arrangements for his fish tank.
They said it sparked some and the cooling fan sped up. At the present time, it only starts the fan for a spin and the LED display lights, but you cannot change the voltage from 0. I opened it up, I didn't see any internal fuse. It's probably tanked, but it's such a shame. I wonder if I should have had that buss bar still attached to the ground post?
