2015 VRAA 2.5 ltr. build

This years VRAA proxy (fall 2015) has had a second class added for 1954/60 2.5 litre F1 cars, with this class having a more relaxed rule set in order to attract new builders.....the suspension detail rules have been omitted so that first time/less experienced builders won't have to worry about this finickly part of the build, and the stock plastic chassis' are also legal for this class......and, well set up, they are very competitive.

The following pics. are of the chassis/body that will be my entry for this years 1954/60 class.

Looks like there is a lot of twist/torsion built into that little chassis.

Should be a runner, and also a concours threat...

What are the mechanical details of that link between front and rear sections of the chassis? Is it articulated? WTW?

Hello Folks, I finally got the rolling chassis complete......it has undergone its initial testing, and, all is well.

I still need to paint the ends of the front axle tube metallic grey to eliminate the brass look, and I will need to add a 1.5 grams of weight to meet the minimum (65gms.) weight rule.
