Thanks guys! It made for good entertainment at the track last night! LOL!
Here are a couple closer shots of the chassis / body mounting. The legs on this critter are solid so I just drilled up through the front feet with a 1/16" bit to make provisions for the .062 wire "U" that makes the front mount. The rear "mount" is actually just a support that the rear of the body sits on (gives her a little "float" :lol: )
Main chassis is a piece of .062 x .500 brass back to a JK Products motor bracket in the back and guide in the front (the wire is all .062"). Fronts are JK87461PF units - rear are CB Design 15x10 with Paul Gage PGT skins on them. Drive train is a used FK180 (Colgate toothbrush) motor from the parts box, with a 9 tooth pinion and a a 35 tooth sleeved Parma crown gear. :D
