Well it is done, almost! I am having a hard time making the decals for the door graphics. Anyway, I am pretty happy with the results. It runs well and has a nice lean to the body through the corners thanks to the chassis set up. I used a lot of the body trim from the die cast. I did chrome foil the grille and body side moldings. The windows, bumpers, door handles, mirrors, hood ornament, and part of the headlight bezels were pirated from the die cast model.The spotlight was from the junk box and modified to fit.Tires on roof rack are some vintage items with a nice aggressive tread pattern, and the tow rope is a piece of string. I hand painted the license plates. I used most of the interior from the die cast and modified some Carrera grand stand figures to resemble the crew.

And here is a picture of the men and the car at a reunion in 1975. The car was sent to a junk yard not long after.
