Other decals are on and in clear. Paint the window net later on with some flat black. Probably just mask around and brush it on. Then some flat black mesh for the grill.









Now back to the good stuff. The chassis. :dance:

Worked on the chassis some today. Made a couple changes. Going with rattle pans instead of a single plumber and added another set of rails. Have to get another brace on the front axle bushings and make up a guide tongue. For now it's off to the tumbler for the night. Hope the bushings don't come off in the process. :lol: Should come in under forty grams after the tongue is on.

I think you made a very wise decision on your choice of pan mounting. With a hard body a rattle pan seems to work better. At least that is what my testing has told me.

Now for a question . . . . did you solder either the fork rails or flex rails in place? I can't tell from the photos.

Thanks Marty! The fork rails are soldered and the side rails are not. They are just inside .062 id tubing same with the side supports. All .055 wire. See what happens within the week. All else fails rebuild. :lol:
