Sunday or maybe rename it "SedanDay" ?
I started on another project and General MyWay decided it would make her happy if she could build one too. Well, many know I live a good life by following the golden rule "If mama ain't happy...then NOBODY's happy!" So she got started.
She started with a ShotgunDave body of course. Had some sanding to do as most do and she dove right in.
When that was done she gave it a coat of primer. When the primer was dry she gave it her first coat of the color she wanted.
Then it was on to the chassis.
This is her FIRST brass chassis in 1/32. She measured mine and started to cut brass. Then I helped here a little with setting it up in the new honeycomb jig, and she heated things up
Just like mine, only better. MUCH better.
Hers & His chassis in an afternoon.
I think it looks pretty good for the first coat.
Lots of work yet to do, but what a great start.
This was a lot of fun building slot car together. Thanks General for a great day.
