Out of circulation temporarily

Postby btaylor » Tue Dec 01, 2015 12:38 pm

Guy's, thought I would take a few minutes and let everyone know. I am having trouble getting adjusted to my BP meds, and I cant watch TV, or play on the PC for more than a very few minutes, I get almost sea sick from them. I cant drive right now either for the same reason. So my time on the board is minimal at best.
Just didn't want anyone to think I wasn't trying to keep up with all the cool stuff on here, I just cant do it for long.
Some great builds and slot related stuff, I really hope this passes so I can get back full strength.
Thanks for listening

Bob, I've played the "let's see what this drug does" game with the Docs and it can be a pain. Take care and relax, they'll get the right combination.

Sounds like they've got to work with the strength of the meds that you are taking; right now, it sounds like you're a little over-medicated.

Relax and be sure to communicate all of your symptoms to your Docs; the feedback will help them get the right meds for you and at the right strength.

We miss you.............get well soon!

BOB--
Be aware that the BP meds are the most likely to be a problem for anyone. I went through four of them before we discovered that the same ingredient makes the lethal side effect that I always had. As it turned out, I could do without better than being on that crap. My BP is borderline, so I really didn't need to be on it anyway. I just take a nap every day, and the BP problem doesn't exist- barely. Get on the internet and look at the side effects of what you have been prescribed. Dr.'s today have no idea what to look for. There are dozens of drugs coming at them every week. Its up to you to save your own life with this stuff. Look it up and compare how you feel. My symptoms were a crashing low energy and slow heartbeat, but there are lots more. WebMD and PDR are good sources, and Mayo Clinic has good info too. My wife and I are long time medical folks (she's a 44 year nurse, for cryin' out loud!), and we were way ahead of my team of Dr.'s in finding the serious side effects of all 4 of the drugs they hit me with. Sure enough, I needed a daily nap. I'm still borderline, but I don't need the drugs and I do a daily BP check to be sure. I lost 30 pounds by cutting out beer (OMG!), and that helped, too.

I'll bet if you took a poll, that most of us are on BP meds of some sort. Take it easy and rest lots. That also helps the BP.

Cheers,
