A special thanks to my suppliers....

Postby Cosmic Bilby » Wed Jan 02, 2013 2:58 am

...You know who you are :)

Got back from holidays today to be greeted by a heap of stuff in boxes, had a great time ripping them open and checking out the latest toys.

Everything arrived safe and sound.

A special thank you to my beautiful BRUCE....

...This man is outstanding!!!

Every model car I've ever bought off this guy (and they are numerous) is always packed with the utmost care, Bruce I love ya mate, you are the best!

My wifes favourite out of the latest cars is the Carrera Hardtop Cobra, she thinks it is great.

I'm torn between the Iggy Katona "Vegemite" stocker and this second hand Carrera 512BB I picked up from Bruce...

Bit sad when there is a "latest and greatest" competition style 1/32 scale slot car sitting in the pile. All will be revealed on that shortly when I complete the review for HRW, its nice, should be quick, just prefer the older era stuff really....

Still waiting on my Scaley XB hardtop and the Flyslot Kremer CK5, looking forward to some quality time out in the man cave over the next few days.

No XB here yet Rob.
Startin' to panic, they're well and truly sold out in Oz now to pre orders. Even Topslots in UK are sold out
I'd hate for this one to disappear in the post. :(

I'm not expecting my XBs until Monday or Tuesday next week.

But, let's face it. This car was always going to be a no brain winner. It has something that the Torana never had. PRESENCE!!!

Looking forward to seeing some of that horde Rob.

The hardtop Cobra is a true gem. I'm dying to get some decent tyres on it so I can give it a proper blat. But even skating on thin ice I can see some serious potential. It's been trimmed and blue printed. Only missing tyres from Paul which were ordered this morning.

Just bit the bullet and bought a second XB, just in case!!!
It's not like I won't be able to offload it down the track, (or Mad max it) if they both show up!

....Two is the minimum on this one Ted!!!

I think the XB will be a big hit, don't think its ever going to be a huge money spinner in collecto world (not limited enough numbers), but it would be a good thing to have one for the shelf and one to use and abuse...

H, I would've traded you for the snow yesterday mate, coming home it showed up at 38 Celsius in the car (outside temp), what an absolute stinker! Was a lovely holiday though, could easily live up there, beautiful weather and its cheap living too :)
