Yesterday went for training, filled out my W4, and helped a bunch of customers. Learned a lot about fixing R/C cars and helos, and displayed my 1/25 '39 Ford proxie slot car. The new owner of the shop also discussed with me his plans to set up a pair of commercial slot tracks as well as some carpet racing. Dream job!

Right. Hobby Town is the good spot. No creepy politics or dirty tricks. One of the Hobby Towns here built a Scaley Sport track a week after they opened, and got a list together of slot car guys for a 100 mile radius. Really went the extra mile. I was impressed. Apparently the managers of that layout have a wide range for their floor plans.
