Does the real show have that many commercials and dumb soap opera unnecessary dialog? Is that just to fill in time space on the UTube video? That Mark guy has a pathological ego problem. He needs psychiatric help. I eventually shut off the sound and really enjoyed the rest of the show. Has anybody else ever heard of a series of 10 cars called the Kowalski Challengers? That's a complete surprise to me.

I stopped watching that show, that guy gets on my nerves, I know most of it's probably for show, but he just comes off as full of himself! I watch Jesse James's new show sometimes and he's great builder, but it's a bit tiring to hear him toot his own horn!

That is one thing I really like about Chip Foose and Overhaulin, HE is very humble and he lets the work speak for itself!

I know a lot of people don't like the guys on Fast and Loud, but they have fun and it's easier to watch when everybody is having fun!

The new show Bitchin Rides is pretty good too!

These shows are a must see but definitely with the sound OFF and PRE-RECORDED so you can just skip to the parts where they actually show the cars. Otherwise, these guys basically represent your typical slot car guy if given 40+minutes of television time - we might all just turn into an obnoxious opinionated MC. LOL. Not me of course, my show would be super interesting! LOL...

Compared to these guys, a slug is super interesting...

I suppose I'm jealous, really. I know dozens of guys, and a few women, who would do so much more and have results that are deserving of the subject. Aside from being egotistical, ignorant jerks, the truth about what ticks me off about these guys is their total lack of respect. False praise to keep the audience buttered up isn't the same thing.

We knew these cars were special from the moment we saw them. It didn't take 35 to 45 years of history and retrospect to see it because we respected the car for what it was. That mindset is absent in these guys. In that era, there were other spectacular cars that didn't have the eye-grabbing appeal of Mopar Muscle, particularly the Wing Cars. The early Mach 1 Mustangs were remarkable cars, although somewhat complex to maintain, Pontiac, Oldsmobile, even Buick had two serious muscle cars. We knew these would be the cars we would be talking about for the rest of our lives the first time we saw them. Oh well..

You hit the nail on the head. I have never figured out why mean spirited drama has to be the norm for shows like this. And fake drama at that. All of the Mopars were very unique cars but the way they act on the show, you have to wonder if they truly think these cars are special or have they simply cornered the market on detailed knowledge about one particular branch of their hobby and are simply lording over everyone who has a differing viewpoint. It's kinda funny, when we meet these kind of folks in person they are the last people you want to hang out with so why on earth do we let them in our living rooms.

And you are absolutely right about the other cars. My personal faves include the Ford Torino Talladega and Mercury Cyclone Spoiler II variants. It was incredible these were built for retail sale.
