Hi Dave!

Thank you so much!

Nervous is an understatement.......

I've had way too much time to research, over analyze and wait this surgery out.

I have so much stress and tension worrying about it that I am like a tightly wound clock spring.

I go in at 6 am tomorrow for about a 5-6 hour surgery for a spinal fusion.

My first surgery at 46.

I will be glad when I am on the back side of it.

Thank you again for thinking of me and the well wishes!

It means a lot to me from everyone on the board here pulling for me.

I can't say enough good things about everyone here on the boards and all the kindness and compassion regarding this.....

I will check back in once I leave my all inclusive stay at the hospital for the next few days.

Hold down the fort till I get back.

I look forward to speaking with all my slot brothers here again!

God Bless you all!

Wayne, I think Dave pretty much said it for all of us, we have all been there at one time or another, and are still around to give everyone a hard time! So do what the Doc says, don't overdo it,and get your butt back on here when you can!

Hey Bob!

I have way too many more laps to turn and plenty of more fenders to rub so I will get back as soon as I can.

Keep the insanity going without me as best as you all can!

You will be at full speed very soon. Slotburgers increase healing, proven fact. Have two when you get home, or just come on down and I'll serve.

Wayne,
Here's to your speedy recovery.
My son had a spinal fusion on 14 vertebrae - 10 hours on the table - He grew 2 inches at least. That was about 2 months ago and he was up and about very quickly. I am having difficulty in stopping him from getting on his roller blades before he is signed off and allowed to practice again.

Hey Guys!

Thanks!

Mark, that is awesome that your son is recovering so quickly! I wish him the best!!!

Harry, Don't think for a minute that I wouldn't take you up on your legendary Slotburgers!

I need to get down and visit you sometime!!!

That would do the trick to get me up and at em' at slot speed again!!!!

In about 12 hours I will be out like a light and the show will begin.....

Thank you all again for your strength and support in getting me through this.

This is my first time around the track regarding this and it has been a very stressful tension filled ride.

You guys have been the best and I will be back on the boards as soon as I can.

I look forward to HRW in getting me through the slow rehab process.

God Bless you all!

Go for it Wayne! Everyone I know that has had it done say they wonder why they didn't do it sooner. I have a friend who just had it done last October and he says he's doing very well, and this was his second one. You should do just fine. :)
