BRP32 survived his surgery

Postby BRP32 » Mon Sep 22, 2014 7:14 pm

Hi guys,

Well I survived my surgery and just got home from laying in the hospital for 5 days.

I'm still in a lot of pain and am quite out of it rom all the meds.

I hope to be back at it again when possible here.

God bless all of you for pulling for me.

It helped me get through all this.

Be back when I can just taking it a day at a time now.

Your friend,

Wayne :D

Well my day is now complete and I can go to sleep knowing that you pulled through Wayne.

Now, do what the doc says, how the doc says and when the doc says.

Your recovery is going to take some time. We "mature men" do not heal as quickly as those young guys we used to be at lone time.

Just another notch in the old gun grip there pard.

Good to hear you made it back.

Glad it is over. Since I went through neck surgery myself about 12 years ago, I know what you are going through. I'm living proof that there is life after this surgery. Give me a holler if you have any questions. Like Marty said, follow the doctors instructions to a tee. Enjoy the time off while you have it. You'll be building slot cars in no time.

Well I'm glad your home Wayne and be thankful for the meds. Otherwise you'd be in a lot more pain. Take care of yourself so you can get back to 100% soon. JIm

I knew you would do great. It'll take some time to get back to normal, but your body will know when it's getting better, so listen to it, and the doctor. :D

Good hearing from you Wayne, :handgestures-thumbup: sorry I'm late with this post, I usually never venture out past the HO Forum, or sometimes 1/43 section.
Anyway, glad to know all went well, but take your time and don't overdo it, rest up and follow yer Docs Orders.
We're here for ya, and you have better days ahead :text-bravo:

Hi guys,

Feelin a little okay today so thought I would stop by.

Finally broke out of the hospital after being on spinal tap due to torn dura in multiple places from the free fragment. glad to be home. hard adjusting and getting sleep through the night. these drugs are something else and the oxycotin scares the hell out of me and makes me very emotional and confused. I am up and walking a little and am very wore down and tired feeling all the time. Just following directions doing what I am suppose to do. This neck brace is no fun and hard to sleep in. doing a lot of mindless laying down tv watching. I see the new pawn stars has an AW slot car track in its commercial where chumley and someone is taking bets running ho slots. looks funny.

Well I'm over heated here and need to go rest.

I'll be back when I can.

God bless all you guys for pulling for me.

Definitely trying times but at least I will get better one day at a time now.

Love you guys and hold down the slot post.

Wayne

Good to hear from you Wayne! Sounds like you are on the road to recovery! I saw the previews for Pawn Stars with the slot track. I will try and catch it! Take it easy.
