Wow Dave.. The details are coming together in such a great way.
I love the 'authorized personnel only' area and the lighting.. but I
think my favorite update is the pillows! Really cool material~

A silly update but something I needed to finish before I go any further: Lane striping!

When you can't find 1/4" tape
Locally - just slice 1/2" tape with an xacto. It doesn't have to be pretty as you only need the good edge. I freehand my tape as tracks back in the day were not remotely perfect. BTW - this was a ton of taping!!!

I use a small brush to slap it on and peel the tape fairly quickly thereafter. I use the cheap Applebarrel paint from Walmart.

And a few hours later...

With a little grime in the corner:

Still have weathering and cracks to do but it is getting there!

Oh! I also started my next spectator area:

Looking really good. It's all the "little" things combined that set the stage.

Maybe I should come out and help?

The track is coming to life, looks great

I like how the sign is hanging by one side only, that's how most of them looked :text-bravo:

The "resting place" adds a little something to the track and it's varied scenarios.Thank you again for letting me contribute to your scenic features that brings PDR to life.

That is very cool. I like the fence too, is that bamboo mat? The Corvairs look awesome on the track. Jim
