Sorry Bob. I didn't mean to leave you hanging! I'm going to paint the basement first before I landscape. Not happy with the color down there, so it will be MUCH easier to do it now than later. I'll try to get going again!

Any new progress on PDR? This is one of my all-time favorite slot car tracks and I can hardly wait to see it all landscaped like your previous version.

About to start in earnest! Buying the facia this week and the screen. It will be eons before it is done-ish, but I have to close off the canyon of doom problems...

I finally had some time to start working on the facia board so I can begin with the screen and Sculptamold.

The plan is to trim the corners and paint it black, since it is essentially furniture.

Thanks, yes it does. I'm also changing things up a bit - besides the elevations being less extreme this time around, I am not going with so much concrete this time on the corners. It was beginning to look a little to toy-ish to me. So, working through that as well.

I hope to get the rest of the front fascia on tomorrow night if all goes well.

I was able to get the front done tonight...progress!

Had a little more time last night and got the screen blocks glued in and the flat spots for the fee structures. Now it is looking slightly more like its old self!

The flat spot in front is where some spectator cars will be.



The girls will be gone almost all Saturday so the screening will commence!

The track is looking fantastic Dave. Can't wait to run a few laps on it. (when I make it out that way) John W.
