Hi

I'd like to get involved in the Slot Car Racing Hobby. I've always loved slot car track racing and as an adult I now have the means to pursue. I'd like to start a club that would meet perhaps once a month at a rented space. We would setup our tracks and race the day away. I am looking for other Winnipeggers and surrounding area to join in this pursuit. The reason I suggest we would rent space ( like at a legion perhaps ) is that I don't have any room to set up a track at my place. Any other Manitobans interested in something like this, please send me a mail here.

Also, there may already be a club in Winnipeg that I don't know about. If there is could someone please let me know. I'd greatly appreciate it.

Look in all of the forums, many have listings of clubs and tracks. There does seem to be several clubs in Canada, Long winters don't you know.

Here in the Pacific NW there are a few clubs in the Portland/Vancouver area ranging from 1/24 scale drag racing to 1/24 & 1/32 scale road racing as well as HO scale racing.

Seattle has a pretty active slot scene also.

I know there are clubs from Vancouver to Quebec, including at least two in Toronto.
