:text-bravo: Garold is doing a great job. You have found someone with skills to get the job done. I know that he is mostly into vintage slot cars .. will he be joining in the DeBary Glen races in the future? Are you thinking of incorporating vintage racing in your program? With his track and now your reconditioned track .. the two of you could get a vintage series started. What a fine compliment to the blooming slot car club scene that is happening here in Florida. I tip my hat to you, Bob. :music-rockout:

Man! He's a fast worker! Must be working for food! It is really looking great Bob! Crank the AC though, he looks a little hot!

What is inspiring him is that within the limitations of the size of the table and having to reuse the old track sections I gave him the authority to play with the vertical aspect of the design and build in some banking on the corners. The material for the railings was chosen by him and is working out great. It is vinyl roof trim. The track was previously mounted flat on the table except for the crossover. Previously the railings were incomplete and in places, falling off. He is almost as impatient to start driving on the track as I am.

That's a quick turnaround !!!!

The driver's stations are wired and working. All that is needed now is to fix the breaks in the copper tape and the track will be running. I will be installing the sensors for the lap counter Friday or Saturday.

I thought the track looked good before, but man, those elevations have transformed it!

I have copper tape too. Every once in a while I have to do this......maybe once a year. Get the xacto knife, poke the holes in the patches and mine seems to come right back.

And like Allan said........we want an lap! We want a lap! :lol:

Seriously though........nice work! Smooth and swoopy, that's going to be a fast track for sure!

The track is up and running. We still have some areas that need attention but we got all 4 lanes working. Garold and I had a little race and he won due to me crashing on the third lap. I tried to upload a video to photobucket but I must have made a mistake.
