as promised a few months ago here are pics from the build of my first track since a plastic Revell in the 60's. Routed MDF painted with satin latex floor paint, copper tape, Prof. Motor wiring terminal, 12 gauge wire with 2 power taps spaced over the 40ft lap length and Prof. Motor club controllers resting in Slot Car Corner holders. Woodland Scenics for scenery products esp. their Shaper Sheets to form the hills.Expensive but a lot easier than screen over wood blocks or cutting foam sheets.
Having a blast tuning my Slot-it cars. PG urethanes seem to grip better and hold it longer than the silicones I tried. :D

I really like it !!... I especially like how you laid out the over/underpass. The curved section going over, so your sight line is only blocked on the straight section. Great job on the bridge to, I have bridge envy!!! my overpass will now need to be redone!!
what materials did you use to make the bridge ?

excellant job!!!
John

Bridge walls are purely decorative(non-weightbearing).5/8 in. square wood dowel w/ edges sanded rounded then cut into appropriate lengths after being notched every 1.5in about 1/8” deep using a saw. Dowels stacked using glue and screws then stained with Woodland Scenics granite pigment diluted and “dappled” on with a cheap, worn paintbrush.
