Hopefully (if I understand correctly what you mean) I didn't assembled them myself. :mrgreen:
I'm wondering what kind of machine can assemble these little bits of pine into these big boards too !
The good thing is that it was about 50% cheaper than the usual big boards made of 2 or 3 big planks. It only cost me around 80usd (the main boards only , not the stands, cleats, etc...), wich is a pretty good price here in France, for real pine wood. Finally it was cheaper than plywood, mdf or even thick chipboard.
I also found nice fir wood posts for the HO track (around 2"x2", 2meters lenght) for just 3euros/5USD each !
Summer is a good period to build a track, at least here. People are focusing on their holidays, or gardening. It's not time for home improvement works and other similar stuff.
