Todd, as of now, I am planning on sending in a VW with the 21k motor. Might be sending in a rail if I can get it built in time.

- There is NO entry fee for this fun run other than the cost of shipping your car to the first venue.
- The car hosts will be providing photos and reviews of the cars for everyone's enjoyment!
- Concours judging will be performed at the first track at a minimum.

This is why....people aren't trying to burden anyone....it was spelled out on page 1
Hosting tracks mostly know too ...or don't they?

I will know in a few days if the cars are coming north for a Canadian Nats. While I appreciate Todd's offer to pay the tab for the shipping, I will not be sending him my bill. It will be enough that he will be shipping each car home afterwards.

Perfect Moniker for a "split" window! I love it.
Nice work Dave, your paint work is stellar.

Hi All:

I talked to Luf tonight at racing, and we are a go for the Canadian Nats. We have to build a track first, but Dan at TrackMate has offered us the loan of his timing gear for the track and Luf will build it. We plan to set it up outside so need to run it some time in the summer when the weather is suitable.

Cheers,

Keith

Todd,
Was wondering. Since there are multiple tracks hosting, and because my work schedule changed unexpededly, can a person ship to the "next" host and still be in the race? Because of my schedule change, it is going to make it really hard to be ready by the first race. Which brings up another question. What are the race schedules for the other hosting tracks? Is there a 2 week time between races?
Thanks,
Charley

Charley -
Yes - cars can join in the fun any where along the way - but naturally, it would be nice if they were here from the start due to trying to have them all fit into the large shipping box(es) that will travel from track to track. :)
The first two races are being handled by me and Slot Therapist and are currently scheduled for:
Mark's Model World - week of June 22
Route 93 Raceway - week of July 13
Thanks!

INCOMING

A hauler with a Fiat Topolino gasser and a Studebaker LSR pulled out yesterday. You can expect them to arrive in a week or three depending on Canada Post and Customs.

I have absolutely no idea how they will compare, as they have never seen a long straight, let alone a drag strip, but I am looking forward to the fun.
