Bob, how about a space on that roster for each entrant's car and number, so that everyone knows who'll be running what?

If you go that way, mine are: Auto Union Type-C / # 5 and Marmon Wasp / #32

I've got bodies coming for the two turbine cars so I will break tradition and be #40 and #70. If I can get a hold on a Watson Roadster body I might be able to get a third car ready if that is allowed, or at least send the best two of the three.

Looks like I need to get hot and figure out where to source a body or two from! :)

Hi Bob,

I haven't heard much about the 100 Years of Indy Proxy lately. I still think it's a great idea, but I wanted to enquire whether or not you would consider extending the start date. I got stuck behind a lot of proxies this Spring (the last one has a due date of May 30th) and didn't have time to build out either the Wasp or the Auto Union, although I have both car bodies in-house now. Is the due date still May 15th? Any chance of extending that to mid-Summer? I expect no, and I understand that fully, since this has been in the planning stages since last August, but I though I'd ask...........

If I only had time to do one car, I'd do the Wasp.

Me to Bob, I am way behind and could use the extra time. The flood just about wiped out any schedule I ever had.
But I will understand .
All the best

I have the two turbines built and tested. I just ordered decal sheets from Indycals, and am in the process of making inserts for the wheels. These two are going to be my best modelling to date, ever. I am hoping that this proxy is still a go, and I should be able to send the cars in time for the real 500. That said, with Bob's medical issues and lots of other proxies, I won't have a problem if it is postponed a bit, but I would hate to see it abandoned. It is an excellent idea.

Guy's,I had wanted to run these in may. However, due to my situation as well as the overall proxy schedule, We can extend the race date till later. I will look and see what a better date would be.
Glad there is still interest in this one, they are some of my favorites to build and race.

Now then if I could find some more specs on this car I could model it up and print it out then test it out to see if it is viable or not. Just read that it was entered but never lasted long enough for the time trials.

I especially like the focus of the driver.
