I have done a lot with Tamiya Racing White over the years, and I have learned several things that are unique to that particular paint color. It is unlike any of the others as far as I can tell. It actually changes (a lot, not a little) as it gasses out. It richens the color, so you have to time the application of clearcoat to freeze the process at a given point, which sounds nuts, because it assumes using clearcoat a day before gassing is complete. Yes, I know how crazy this sounds, don't bother telling me. Also, it darkens with Future if you wait for fully gassed out paint, the only thing I know of that happens with (other than Future that has gotten old and yellowed). I can post a couple of examples of cars I did to figure this out years ago. Its amazing how distinct the variation of color richness is. I'd advise a test shot or two to get a handle on this. I had to completely repaint a Porsche 962 Braun because I waited too long and got a less white version of the car after clearcoat. Good luck.
