Hey Arrold, how'd you get the Slot It wood guides to run on your Sport track. Tried it on mine and it click/clacked around there like an old train!

Not sure if anyone is using the Slot.it wood guide or not. Like I said I've been running the Forums Cup for five or more years now with no guide issues that I can recall. Maybe people aren't using the Slot.it wood guide.

What type Dodge you running? Charger or Coronet?

I'd be glad to drive up to Derby City if you need help running your segment. We could just put the box in my car and save you some postage. Then go to Bibbsters and save some more postage. But the gas would be a UM shut your mouth. But the fun would be worth it. For what its worth guys, my experience is that the Slot.it wood guide does fine on everything but Scaley Classic track, if you simply Dremel drum sand the leading edge a bit, then sand off the trailing edge the same amount as the wedge shape they cast in. My track has a severe hairpin chicane, much tighter than a Scaley Sport R-1, and by doing this treatment, cars go through perfectly. I drum sand the long Carrera guides the same way, and they do fine.

In fact, its actually easier to get speed in that hairpin with a slightly modified Slot.it guide. Drives people crazy. This track was our favorite for many years, and I got it because the builder had to move. It all happened so fast that I actually restored it on top of my old track. Someday, I'll take my mild roadcourse out from under it, but I am thrilled for now to have this old bugger at my place.

Well, this is one fine looking ride. You really laid down a smooth finish on it. Dave, don't put my car too close to this one...it looks bad enough already :)
