I tried that kind of suspension on a 1950 Ford stocker in 1/24th. I had to build a "stop" on it to keep the body from coming down far enough to make a tire rub problem. It did make a difference in the cornering once I got the bounce out of it by using telescoping tubing as a damper.

Love the Fairlane Todd, great color combo.. Also like that it's a "Northern" Ford dealers car
(didn't see that much in 60's nascar scene)
Wish I had joined in on this one.. Have a '62 Tbird runner I could have sent~

hey Dave,
on the other page I see some tracks listed as ovals and 1 road course, others are not specified. Are there any more than the 1 road coarse ?

I just hope my heavy plastic chassis car is competitive with these scratch built brass chassis'. It shocked me how heavy this car is with no extra weight.
Can't weight to see how it races with this class of cars.

Yeah, we kinda left the idea of "all oval" long behind, didn't we? I built the first one of my cars for ovals, and later, the other for anything that comes, as long as it its long. I may have accidentally covered the courses.
