I've been working on the paint and decal side of things today so everything has plenty of time to cure. :)
The base coat has been applied, the taping for the second color is done and will be shooting more color here shortly.

Decals - I am using a mix of various sheets plus some I made up myself... quick shot of the "home made" ones... :)

Bob - I am figuring on #88 unless I mess up one of the gold colored single 8's I have - at which point it will be #8 instead. :)

Yep, Dave, that's the one I remember. At the time I thought it was dumb and artificial, but I like it now. I didn't know the guy, but there was one of these Torinos with a 428 running around Memphis in those days. It had hidden headlights- very cool.
