This race has been a TON of fun the first 3 years.

While the racing part is what the event is about, the best part is the socializing and comaderie that goes on throughout the weekend. As you can see in the video Mike posted, we do have fun while we're here. Looking forward to this year's race :music-rockout:

Last year was my first Michigan 24 -- looking forward to this year's race! The Dum Dums will have to bring their A-game with both SlotCarCorner and the Atlanta guys on the track...

How are you guys going to top last year's bling?
I saw a billboard for the lottery. It said, "Estimated lottery jackpot 55 million dollars." I did not know that was estimated. That would suck if you won and they said, "Oh, we were off by two zeroes. We estimate that you are angry."

Hello Kurt,

Rest assured we are hard at work upgrading our bling - we actually started after last year's race. We may give everyone a sneak peek once we get a little closer to the actual race. While to outcome of the race is always up-in-the-air, the team with the most bling is not. We'll ALWAYS bring more bling than the other teams! :violence-smack:

"The bling is the thing..."

I saw the 2013 video on youtube the other day (for the first time) looks like a great time. The 'night' part was cool!

Sounds like a whole lot of cowbell is needed to win this one.

Good luck guys.

Yep, a whole lot of cowbell. I probably own more cowbells than most (two), and I probably don't have enough cowbell.

As Christopher Walken said "You're gonna want more cowbell on the track", and I'm thinking that if I literally put the cowbells on the track (SCC's lane and Atlanta's lane), then we have a good shot at this thing.

Kurt, our car will run enough suspension gear to go over any cowbell that will be in its way!

I'm counting on shattered plastic -- anything short of that won't slow you guys down. :)

Christian!! Stop giving away our speed secrets (suspension)!! :teasing-blah:

As for the cowbell in our lane, our SCC lights will be so bright this year, it'll melt the cowbell :music-rockout:
And to prove our lights are that good, we'll give Team Dum-Dum a set of lights for free and let them use their car to demonstrate :D

I forgot to post earlier... One of the highlights of making this trip is getting a hug from a certain Miss Mopar J. I look forward to getting a few this year, as does Georges ;)
