I wonder how long it will take before we see 1/32 slot cars of the new BMW M8? What an awesome looking race car. The Z4 all grown up.

Sorry if this is not the right thread, but I’m intrigued by some of the new Scalextric offerings. Besides a Carson chip, what else is needed or needs to be modified or replaced for the Scalextric cars to run well on Carrera digital track? Thanks for the info.

Carson chip is quickest way if the car is DPR ready. Otherwise you can use a Carrera chip and splice/solder it in. That method works on any car. May have to either mod or remove the interior on some cars. Skip the front engine cars, but inline and sidewinders are good. Make a cardboard template of the chip to see how it will fit.
