Hi Allan, very bad news I am afraid, Ford refused to Sponsor me , so no GT 40 from Canada.
Something about the weak Canadian Dollar being worth only 70 cents in Ford Country. :violin:
On the bright side I was offered a fully funded entry by a Mr Enzo Ferrari from Italy. Nice guy. :character-blues:
I didnt understand a word he said , but his hand gestures were quite clear.
and his cheque book was very quickly produced.
So I immediately jumped on his offer with many Grazzi's the only word I knew. :bow-blue:
He is still angry with the racing authorities and has asked that the Entry not be the traditional Red of Ferrari as it is his protest to them. :angry-tappingfoot:
I have promised him a great livery and will use the prancing horse emblems.
So from GT 40 to Ferrari 312P. Still #23
I hope this dosent compromise the balance of the entries. Lol. :angry-banghead:

My kindest regards sir. It seems Mr Ferrari understands some English, and mentioned something about a neck tie if I crossed him lol

Chappy...........too funny! :laughing-rolling:
Yes, a non-red Ferrari would be more than welcome!
Enzo must have spoken to you in a somewhat "gravelly" voice, exumed people tend to be a little difficult to understand at times...............! :scared-eek: Great effort on your part to bring him back to the surface! As long as he didn't mention cement overshoes you should be fine..........
Welcome to the prancing horse side of the duel! The more "horsepower" in this proxy, the better.......... :D

Have decided on an entry. GT 40 MkII #98. And, should the last bits of sense depart there might be a Cobra Daytona entered, too. Still trying to figure out how to make the toy come close to the real one.

Got your entry added, Bill.
I'm still thinking about a Cobra Daytona coupe, too. If the rear tire/deck can be eliminated (and still look reasonable - maybe a photocard deck), then I think there's room for a SW motor on an HRS2 chassis; which could be a nice set-up. But, that would be 3 cars for me...............hmmmmm, something to think about though...................

Put me down for the usual...1972 Ford Capri (first and second in Touring class a LeMans). Either #13 (fantasy livery) or #54 (Actual car)

Allan -
I plan to field a Ford GT-40 if all goes well. :D
I picked up a Scaley C3315 from a guy at the track with a cracked chassis that is currently going under the knife...
It will be interesting to see how this goes with cutting the rockers and lower half of the nose goes, while still trying to find room for a brass chassis in there...
Should be "entertaining"!
PS - Also contemplating a "Cobra" entry as a possible second entry - kind of curious what I might be able to do with one of those Snap-tite kits.... ;)
