The Carrera 1960 looks very different, especially from the front. It's also quite narrow (not sure if it's too narrow for its scale or the 1960 really is narrow) but this is correct scale and the proportions look great.

I've had a go at some whitewall tires, they're just done as paper graphics so the chances of them lasting a race is 0.000047%, but it looks pretty now and it'll do until I mask and paint them properly.

What kind of chassis is that? I'm pretty much Carrera only and haven't seen a chassis like that one.
