Scalextric BT26 tire size

I'm looking for a readily available tire for the Scalextric BT26. We're supposed to race these tonight, and I don't have anything in my box that fits. The Slot.it F1 tires are just a tad too wide. Paul Gage and Quick Slicks aren't available locally - I'm stuck with Indy Grips or Yellow Dogs. Any suggestions?

I have been in a similar situation, and I used the wider ones and used an xacto to trim them down in width, then sanded the radius again, worked fine.
