Hobby Shop OTS Report - Scalextric Audi R8 GT3 "Croc"

You have all walked by the display at your local hobby shop (if you have one) and a car just ends up off the shelf and into your hands. This is one of those for me.

I am not much into these cars, but the deco on it almost forced me. It's a decent job of this car that raced at Bathurst. Reminds me of many years ago when SCX did the LMP. It just draws you in.

No surprises under here, basic sidewinder configuration.

Needs some serious wheel/tire time on the Razor to tame the hop. Otherwise not a bad outfit.

In the case is a "Product Info" sheet. It states: "In some climate instances a white "bloom" may appear on the tires. This is not considered defective and be easily cleaned by either:
Running the car several times around the track.
Wiping the tires with a damp cloth and allowing to dry before use.

Interesting.

I like the fact it's lighted front and rear. I am a sucker for lights on cars that should have them.
