We have been running these cars for a few years and we noticed that the rear axle is crooked. Of the 5 cars that we have ,all are not right. One of the cars axle is really crooked.
Has anone else notcied this ?

Not square with the centerline Bobby?

I have a #6 Ickx/Oliver....rears have some lateral leeway on the hubs, the spur is against the chassis,
But the car is square and quick, though it’s a shelfer.

I read somewhere about a bent Slot.it axle but it seems very rear. I know from experience there is more chance of having a Slot.it alloy hub knocked out of true in a serious crash.

Went in the house and flipped a rear inside out and put it to the rib. 20-25 thou of room.
Still, that approach aside, you can shove the tire around and out of line/true. Include some rpm’s and you’ve met your match as the car moves it around. Are you running glued or relying on them as issued?

This has nothing to do with rims and/or tires. The axle is at an angle.

I checked my brothers and his is straight but a little bent probably from the massive crashes he has.

Side note. His car was really slow when he first got it but after a 100 laps or so geez it really came in. When the car was first taken out of the box it was 4.4ish seconds around the track and was grouped with my scaley ralley cars. With zero tuning after 100-150 laps it really came in and was now does low 3.5s consistently and on a good lap it will dip into the high 3.4s. Nearly a second gain with zero tuning (other then the tires wearing down a bit). To give a reference the fastest cars on my track run low 3.3s. I've never seen a car break into to that extent before.
