For the past three years we have been running an Under 2 litre Challenge Cup. Sticking with sedans we run Scalex Escorts, Cortinas, Spirit BMW 2002 (with motor swap to slow 'em down), Carrera BMW 1600, SCX Fiat 124 rally car (with navigator removed)and Escort.
Some guys have run the SCX Abarths but getting good tyres or them locally is near impossible.
Apart from the Spirit, the only modifications were adding weight, urethane tyres. To keep costs down we don't allow after market gears and alloy wheels but members can swap wheels, plastic for plastic which really helps sourcing tyres especially for the Carreras.
Provided some really fun races.
