Upcoming G5 Race is coming up quick! So far, 3 teams from Florida, and a team from Canada are on the books, and gearing up. This years sponsors will be LEB Hobbies and Quick Slicks.

Good choice! Our club in Denver is starting Sideways Group 5s this week as well. We run the class for 3 months (12 races).

Rules & Regs.
Limited to 4 racers per team
Group 5 cars, any manufacturer, with headlights & taillights
Any Light manufacturer allowed,
MUST have capacity to remain lighted for a minimum of 30 seconds with no power
NSR Baby King 17k motors
No juicing of any kind, motors or braid
Only Quick Slicks Silicone Tires allowed, handouts will be available in advance
Lightweight Interiors allowed
Any guide
Any braid
Any gears
Any wheels
Pre race Inspection at 2:30pm
Race starts at 3:00pm
1 hour heats, 3 minutes between heats,
Teams will run each lane once.
May change racers at anytime during heat while track is green, not to impede other racers
Cleaning of tires is allowed during green and in between heats.
Repairs to be made only during green, or in between heats, with a steward present.
If a teams car breaks down, hit the yellow flag, remove car from track, and take to be repaired. The track will go green as soon as racer is cleared and not impeding track. When returning to track with repaired car, it will be placed at the starting line, while track is green, not to impede other racers.
Track will be open by appointment for teams that wish to practice, and test & tune.
*To expand on the any manufacturer of car. 3D chassis are allowed, as long as they are specific to that car. In other words, if the chassis was not made specifically for that car, be it by the manufacturer, or 3D printing outfits, it is not allowed.
If we have more than 4 teams sign up, we will consider modifying heat lengths
