Can anybody give thee diameter of some F1 rear tires?
Want to rebuild a stombecker tyrell 6 wheeler and the rear axle assembly needs replacement.
The stock rear tires look tall, and I will need something close to the same diameter.
Before I order slotit aluminum wheels or anything I'd like some info please.

What dia. and width tire are you looking for, and are you looking to use a scale 13" wheel ??...........lots of options available, ...from 16.5 x 10 to 22.0 x 14....too many to list. (Tires from..... AllSlot, Slot-it, Policar, Dart, PG, PCS, NSR, Ortmann, Quick Slicks and more, in Urethane, Silicone, and, Rubber).

Hi Williamg,......I put together the post that Courtney s provided the link for (Thank you Courtney s ;) ) for the cars that ran in this years HRW F1 proxy. All of these wheel/tire packages were in the 20mm dia. range, which was what these cars (current..ish F1 cars) required, and all of them were "rubber" as mandated by the proxy rules.
I don't have a Strombecker Tyrell P34 handy to measure, but, I believe the stock tires were a larger dia.,.....while the tires/wheels in the link will certainly work just fine, they may not be tall enough if your goal is to mimic the original, also, as mentioned, they are all "rubber" which may not be what you are looking for.
There are plenty of wheels/tires that will work, depending on the size you are after, which is why I asked for a size requirement originally.
Example....Paul Gage makes a complete set of urethane tires (6) taken off the original molds, but these are for the original wheels, which may be a problem. It would be fairly easy to check with him on wheel rib height/width to see if they will fit current aluminum F1 wheels.
Regardless, there are several options, depending on the size you need.
Cheers
