Well they have great grip, but still allow drifting.
They are urethane. The reason I like them over silicone is that they are sandable. When you are using these on stock wheels and such, sanding helps smooth out the ride.
Also, silicones need a very clean surface. A little amount of dust and you are ice skating. I know you want less grip, but you don't want to just fish tail all over the place, as in down the straights.
I have a few sets of Carrera stock tires. Let me see how many I have.
