That makes it the same configuration as the Ninco1 motors, doesn't it?

Have you tried the B-Nova motor adapter at all? I have several pod the Ninco ones, but I'm sure someone closer to you must have them.

All the NC-8 motors that I have seen look like the picture mfogg posted and the one pictured above by Dangermouse. The NC-8 motor that Ember posted is a graphic put out by NINCO but I have never seen an NC-8 motor look like that with the rounded end bell.

Basically, if you can get a motor pod or have a chassis that accepts an NC-5 long can motor, than the NC-8 motor will work using the included adapters. Also, an NC-1 short can motor can be installed in a long can motor mount using the Ninco 80608 motor adapters.

I don't know of any adapter to install an NC-8 motor in a NC-1 short can motor mount.

Hopefully this will clear up the confusion.

Best regards,
Brian

Thanks again Brian, I think I have it figured out now. Theoretically if I could locate a 70127 bracket and a new NC8 with adapters I could make this work. But in reality I have been unable to locate said bracket (even on ebay) and the NC8>NC5 adapters are not sold separately so it's not a feasible swap.

My fault. Sorry about that. I'd swear I have an NC8 just like that, but I probably have it mucking fuddled.

You can fling your tomatoes this way.
