The Brumos RSR team is almost ready to go!!!! Still debating on sending the #276 as the 76 it might not be fair to the Ford guys.

[quote="BARC 1"]I had already posted this, but I will include it here as well.

This is a chassis I built using Lego technics. I parted out one of the Avant chassis I recently required and installed the Avant orange long can. CB rims, with Paul Gage tires, and some custom resin inserts I did.

That is amazing! I just disposed of thousands of Lego Technics pieces, and I never once though they could have been used as a slot car chassis!

Well don't despair. You can buy the individual blocks that work well for slots on ebay by the dozen. The pieces that are bored that I use for Axle stands are even bored to accept a 3/16 X 3/32 flanged bearings making building very easy.

The lego wheels are just right for 1/43 slot cars once you put urethane tires on them

For at home these chassis work great, but because of the fact they are glued I am a little hesitant about their use on a proxy. The FORD GT40 will test to see if they can handle proxy treatment.
Cheers

Idle hands are the devil's workshop, while waiting for decals to come halfway round the planet, I decided against sending Allan the 908 giving away 1500 rpm's.....so theres a new 22k breaking in out in the shop. I stood my ground on the track in Fords,...and I know you can't give em an inch :D

But I'll probly get blueflagged all season!!

I'll bet that's an NSR red checked can - right? Good choice!

When the Fords start to come, they will be tough, just like they were last year.

Well, you have to start at the beginning - right? NSR Ford GT-40 Mk IV chassis "straightened" using the Slot.It procedure........

Now, just couple more minor things to do and it will be ready for some track testing....................... :liar:
