Thanks for the run Gentlemen. Kidvoltage way to stay consistent with the 23!! Those Fords continue to lead the charge but it seems Porsche is starting to make its move.

Thanks to all who are making this event happen. Also thank you for getting my #9 Porsche in the top twenty on both tracks.
Congratulations to our podium finishers. Trying to get there. But a lot of fun.

The cars took a 20 mile scenic drive to the Rhino River Raceway.
Once there they did a couple of sighting laps in preparation for the big race on Thursday.
The incident involving the # 25 Porsche is under investigation !!!!!!!!! Most likely nothing to do with the driver spending some time in the Pit Stop Bar chatting up the lady.

What are considered good times on the 1953 track? Track record? There was a wide spectrum of lap times. It is a great looking track!

Under race conditions a 8.0 lap time is good. I did expect to see some high 7 sec times but the track had been out of use for 4 weeks over the holidays so traction was not ideal.
The lap record is 7.65 with a NSR 917 . Time was set after a 3 hour enduro and no traffic.
For tonight's race, at the Rhino we should see some 5.4's. Lap record 5.345 with the # 63 Walls Porsche but that was after hundreds of set up laps.
Just before I shipped the car off the best I could manage was low 5.6 secs !!!!!!
Don't know if its my just imagination but it seems that weather conditions affect lap times ??????? Cool and moist makes for good lap times.

For the Shamrock Test track what are the final results?

Was this race not a total amount of laps?

5 lap Average is how it looks like it was scored...

Hi Paul (Oscar Racing), I think that the Shamrock was a little something extra thrown in; another chance to run the cars in SA. The two races that are planned to count in the series are the race on The 1953 and the Rhino River Raceway, which takes place today, I think. Richard and Gavin, feel free to chime in if this is not the plan; thanks.
