Well the crews finally got everyone unloaded..
Lot of some very cool rides.
This is turning out to be a big race.
Chuck's bad to the bone Truck.
Love those push bars..

Cordell's super bad rides..Love that blower..

Todd's mean machines...Got to have wheely bars and some fast looking paint!!!

Palmer and company's smooth hot rods..Wheely bars and some great paint jobs by the ladies.

Bill's Fast ponys..cool looking rides..

CORDELL....is that a CORVAIR????? if so I haven`t seen one of those before,wonder if the person that made the mold for that would be interested in doing a AMC GREMLIN????? :lol: Yeah I know,but I like all of those weird cars,I even liked the CHEVETTE bodies and when ya stuff a 4.3 v6 in one,they`re pretty wild lil cars! :o :o :lol:

Well folks ,with the great help of my Wife,Kathy,we got the drags run.
33 dragsters..
No losers here,all winners :D :D
Some very cool builds and some great paint jobs..
Some cars had too much mag for our track and just wouldn't go.Seemed any extra strong mags just stopped the cars.Another kept losing it's rear tires.
On the dnf's we tried several runs.
If there was any question we ran several runs.
The recorded times are with a good reaction time on my part.
There again if I was slow on reaction we ran the car again..
Every one that entered is a winner and will receive one of Roy's motors,one of Roy's Possum Hollar 2015 plagues,
and a NEW car from the strip's owner. :)
The best time in Pro Stock is the one and only Roy (Hoos)with the best time of 1.127 in his warpath chevy :D :D

The best time in top Fuel is Bad boy Dave , time 1.197 in his Blue Willys :D :D

The best time in Stock is Victoria Palmer with a 1.165,I believe one of the twin 7 year old Sisters? In her custom painted #3..

Yes guys,a Young lady beat most of us with the second best time of the run! :D
To me that is what makes this fun.A dad got his girls involved in this and look what they did.. :) :)


Hope to get everyone's cars mailed back out Monday unless you didn't send the return shipping.

By the way Hoos the track owners seems to have impounded that winning car.

well I`ll be darn.....wasn`t expecting that ol 57 to hold up for this run,the chassis motor tires ,and gears are the originals from THE OL YELLAR 57,guess I should`ve put OLD RELIABLE on the side of it :lol: :lol: Thanks Kathy and Rusty for being the greatest hosts around,I`ve realy enjoyed it!

Hey...I overlooked this IMPOUNDED STUFF........IS THAT LEGAL,CAN YOU DO THAT???? :lol: :lol: :lol: put er up on THA WALL OF SHAME if ya want....tha ol girl needs a rest anyway! :lol: :lol: ya might wanna take tha screws out of it and give these guys a shot of how the chassis is set up when ya get time! :lol:

In talking to Rusty, I threw the results in a table sorted by class and time to make seeing how everyone's car did, a bit easier.

Thank you to Rusty and Kathy for hosting the race.

Having the timing system is great. Its nice to be able to see how your times stack up against others. If I'm reading the numbers right it looks like some of the stock cars could have been competitive in Top Fuel.

By all means, lets peek under the hood of the Warpath Chevy.
